Our Story

How it all started...

Kingdom Life Christian Center (KLCC) is a thriving multicultural ministry in NE Philadelphia. We believe that God had placed us in the midst of this community to help bring the people back into a true, spiritual relationship with God.  KLCC formally known as New Hope Outreach Center was started in a small Recreation Center of the Liddonfield Housing Development in 2002.

On the 29th of September 2002, in the Recreation Center of Liddonfield Homes, New Hope Outreach Center-NE now Kingdom Life Christian Center had its first service with a total of seven people in attendance. With God's grace, the congregation is prospering and was blessed to purchase the historic Devon Theater as its new Sanctuary. Kingdom Life is in the process of covering new territory and bringing hope and resoruces to those in need.

The ministry of Kingdom Life Christian Center operates in many aspects of ministry, but the greatest of these is to fulfill the mission of Christ. As we meet the physical needs of individuals and families, we are able to minister to their spiritual needs with the love of God's word which will bring them into relationship with God. Our Outreach Ministries include Prison, Shelter, Nursing Home, Youth, Performing Arts, Education, Leadership and Community Empowerment.

The ministry of Kingdom Life Christian Center is designed to motivate and inspire people to effectively live life On Point!. We keep the vision set before us in Matthew 6:10 - Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven

serving beyond the wall....

Our mission is to serve beyond the walls , our duty as disciples is not limited to  congregants of our ministry but it expands to the entire community that God has strategically placed us in the midst of, our outreach endeavors include a weekly food bank, annual book bag drive, thanksgiving basket giveaway , annual Christmas outreach, weekly feedings and more....

Where we are headed...

Our mission is to become the City Hall of the Northeast. A place where community residents can come be fed, clothed, educated and gain resources. We are working diligently to become a haven for equipping the whole man to live a full life. Each year we implement new programs under Kingdom Life Christian Center Community Development the CDC  has established programs such as Creative Arts Summer Camp, Interacting Tutoring and After School Program, Food Bank, Uniform Drive and more. We are a worship center first but know our mission stretches far beyond the four walls.
