Recycling Sin - The High Cost of Compromise”

Scriptures: Judges 6 (The Living Bible)

We are never satisfied with God being the all in all. 

We are always looking for another way, other than the way that God has for us. 

When they started worshipping other gods, their enemy started to mess with them again. 

The Midianites were very sinful, and they were an enemy to the COI. The name means to strive, contend, or compromise.

The enemy does not just come to pick with you, but he comes to destroy you. 

The longer we keep Midian in our lives, the longer we will have to contend with the enemy and the longer we will compromise. 

The prophet that God sent, he sent this prophet to rebuke Israel. 

Gideon was unqualified and felt unqualified to defeat the Midianites, but God said he would be with him. 

Background: 

The COI continued to disobey God, he we are again recycling sin, the problem with this is that when God delivers you the first time and you go back, it is even harder to get out of. Since in the spirit you are fighting more demons than you were before. People became real relaxed and start to see God as common. They have an enemy (Compromise) that has brought them to a place of confusion. 

When we make a decision to go against the Father. We are hindering the relationship from growing.

When you compromise with the world, the strife it causes is you get weary in trying to do what is right. 

When you are holding a standard, you have to do it from the strength of God and not the strength of self! 

When you start to compromise, confusion begins to come in. 

You can’t compromise what is right in the will of God. 

You can still love people without having to compromise with want you to believe. 

We are living in a similar time period, we aren’t walking in victory because we are so busy trying to compromise.

How long will we not kill the Midianite!? We need to attempt to kill them, because we will not be fully free to serve God! 

The high cost of compromise is costing us generations that should know God. 

When i begin to compromise, it affects how blessed my house is! 

There will be no peace until God is king in your life. 

The rest of the peace you need, will not come until you tear down the altars of Baal! 

Whatever you compromise with you gotta replace it with an Altar for the Lord! 

What will happen, when you begin to repent and tear down every altar. 

I’m gonna destroy the Midian by building a new altar! 

In prayer you have to recognize every sin and altar and begin to tear it down.
